HELP US FIGHT THIS ENEMY

Help us fight this terrible enemy so it does not rob Juliana of her full potential.
It's name is anorexia. And it is an enemy that has no compassion for anyone.
My niece Juliana is 16 years old, she lives in Coral Springs Florida in the US. She arrived there with her family in 2015 fleeing threats from armed groups in her home country. Juliana is the daughter that every parent would dream to have, a sweet, cheerful, disciplined girl, in love with animals and devoted to her studies. A straight As student with a GPA of 5.14. An amazing Ballet dancer, a reader like few (can read 80 books per year). She loves history, old objects, but above all she loves life. And yet anorexia is telling her that she can not, it wants to rob her of her dreams, wants to steal her abilities, her potential, her future.
In the last two months Juliana has been hospitalized 2 times. The last time she spent a whole month there. The diagnosis: Anorexia Nervosa, an eating disorder with devastating consequences if not treated in time and by specialists. She urgently needs to start treatment in an institution specialized in this type of diseases, but given her family’s situation as temporary residents in search of asylum, it is very difficult for them to access the services that my niece needs to fight this "monster"
The medical insurance that her family has is very limited which is why today they are forced to fight at home alone, making the treatment less safe and effective and putting Juliana even more at risk.

Juliana needs us. She needs us to help her fight so she can tell anorexia: I am not alone, I have someone to help me beat you.

Ayudanos a vencer este terrible enemigo que le esta robando a Juliana su potencial.
Se llama ANOREXIA, y es un enemigo que no tiene compasion.
Mi sobrina Juliana tiene 16 años, vive en Estados Unidos en Coral Springs Florida. Llegó allí en el 2015 huyendo de amenazas de grupos armados de su país. 
Juliana es esa hija que todos quisiéramos tener: Una niña dulce, alegre, disciplinada , enamorada de los animales y entregada a sus estudios.  Una estudiante de calificaciones A y con un GPA de 5.14/4.0. Una bailarina de Ballet increíble, una lectora como pocas (puede llegar a leer 80 libros por año). Ama la historia, los objetos antiguos, pero sobre todo ama la vida. Y sin embargo la anorexia quiere decirle que no puede, quiere quitarle los sueños, quiere robarle sus capacidades, su potencial, su futuro.
En los dos últimos meses Juliana ha estado hospitalizada 2 veces. La última vez durante un mes entero. El diagnóstico: Anorexia nerviosa, un desorden alimentico con consecuencias devastadoras si no es tratado a tiempo y por especialistas. Ella necesita urgentemente iniciar un tratamiento en una institución especializada en este  tipo de enfermedades, pero dadas la situación de residentes temporales en busca de asilo es muy difícil para su familia acceder a los servicios que mi sobrina necesita para vencer a este “monstruo” .
El seguro médico con el que cuenta su familia es muy limitado, por eso forzosamente hoy está en casa tratando de luchar ellos solos contra la enfermedad, haciendo menos seguro y eficaz el tratamiento y poniendo aún más en riesgo a Juliana.

Juliana necesita de nosotros. Necesita que le ayudemos a luchar para que pueda decirle a la anorexia: Tuve quien me ayudara a vencerte.
