Meet Jules, a 5 year old Great Pyrenees! Maddy has had her as a baby and she is her everything. They go on 2-3 long walks per day. They explore hiking trails throughout Portland, on the coast and surrounding areas. Jules is Maddy’s companion and best friend.

Jules underwent open chest surgery last evening. They had to remove portions of her lung due to bullae or lesions and one of her right lung lobes. We are told they are non cancerous. She also had a foreign body in her abdomen that they were able to remove. She is stable and resting. She will be in the ICU for a few days recovering. And then she can go home.

Jules’ mom, Maddy, is a student and also cares for the elderly when not with Jules.

The vet bills are piling up and there will be extra financial strains after Jules goes home. Thank you for your consideration!
