Friends, please help me help Jules, my goddaughter, get back on her feet. I’ve loved her since the day she was born, 30+ years ago.

Jules has been dealing with serious, ongoing health issues. During an unexpected hospitalization this spring, her car was towed to a City of Chicago auto pound. With the mounting storage fees, it will now cost her about $4,000 to get the car back. The vehicle may be sent to auction if she’s unable to claim it soon.

Making matters worse, a former roommate failed to pay money she owed Jules—funds she planned to use to get the car back months ago.

Jules had been driving full time for Uber, so the car is essential for her to earn a living. After the recent hospitalization, she also lost her housing and became unable to keep up with her cell phone bill.

I want to help her get the car back and cover a few months of phone service. Beyond that, she also needs help to get into a stable housing situation.
