Our dear friend Julee Glaub Weems is known and loved for her courage, her sweet spirit as well as her incredible musical gifts. Her family and friends have hoped for several years that her formidable and mysterious illness which has caused a tremor and fatigue would respond to treatment. It has been a long road. Julee and Mark have been bearing medical expenses way beyond their ability to manage for some time. And while Julee bravely keeps going, literally doing "everything", her energy is waning. She has recently been diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease, after six years of struggling to identify the cause of her illness. Now is a crisis point since Lyme treatment is generally not covered by health insurance. Both Mark and Julee have given so much to the music community; we thought you would like to be given the opportunity to give back.
