We have created this page on behalf of Julian “JuJu” Franks, in memory of his mother Brandi Franks, who passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2025. JuJu is in his senior year at McGregor High School in McGregor, Texas. To lose the person in life who meant EVERYTHING to him and at such a pivotal and memorable time in JuJu’s life is unfathomable and truly heart wrenching.

There isn’t enough space on this page to fully speak to the beautiful soul of a mother Brandi was to JuJu, and she was this kind of soul to anyone fortunate enough to cross paths with her. It is hard to put into words the closeness between this mother and her son- an unbreakable bond built on unconditional love that was felt deeply between these two. Brandi was SO many things to JuJu, but her role as sole financial provider is something that cannot be ignored in her passing.

JuJu is one of the most remarkable teenage boys to know. He is so selfless- the kid never asks for anything. He is polite and respectful, a straight-A student and a talented player on the Varsity basketball team; the responsibility level maintained is almost abnormal for a teenage boy in this day and age. One word comes to mind to describe JuJu Franks: extraordinary.

If ever there was a kid worthy of monetary donations in a time of need, it is this one. JuJu is a young man who deserves goodness & kindness, so we ask that you please consider supporting him, simply so that he can navigate the costs of everyday life. Funds raised will be transferred to a personal checking account setup for JuJu. We want him to be able to eat, buy gas, socialize, pay for exam fees, senior photos and graduation announcements, prom. And our prayer for this fundraiser is that we can raise enough for JuJu’s extended future: he’s a brilliant guy with college hopes who now has to put himself through college, along with all the living and educational expenses incurred. Brandi was everyone’s biggest cheerleader in life; we feel that your donation to JuJu’s life and future will be like a ripple from her joyous spirit, continuing to cheer him on each and everyday.
