Hello my friends. Our beloved Julia Jordan (we know her and love her as Juju) is in need, and here we come, as a united army of those who see her, cherish her, and love her dearly! The past couple years have been inordinately hard on our Lady of the Vale (I don’t know why I want to call her that but I DEFINITELY do) and she has struggled mostly privately, and ever valiantly, to make ends meet and to care for her health. Multiple heart attacks and stays in the hospital have been determined to take her from us, and I thank God for her astounding strength in making it through those awful storms. Despite having good health insurance and great friends, there have been woeful gaps in what our healthcare system can do for Juju during some of her darkest times. Over a year ago, her insurance stopped covering the treatments that have kept her surviving, and I don’t know of another plan that will cover them. But we can help.

The truth today (and every day) seems to be this: if you love her, here’s a chance to help her. She deserves good care. She needs funds for Uber rides to and from the hospital and her treatments, she needs help with her home and getting it cleaned now and again, and she needs those vital medical treatments to continue to ensure that she stays here with us on earth, wearing her feathered cap, loving on her kitties, and Scottish brogue-ing better than anyone I ever met.
