Después de 8 años buscando el diagnóstico correcto y recibiendo varios tratamientos equivocados que empeoraron su condición, mi mamá Judith finalmente fue diagnosticada con dos tipos diferentes de linfoma cutáneo al mismo tiempo — un caso extremadamente raro y complejo, con muy pocos reportes documentados en el mundo.

Durante esos años, la enfermedad avanzó hasta cubrir casi el 80% de su piel, afectando profundamente su calidad de vida. Debido a la naturaleza de su enfermedad, sus cuidados médicos deben ser altamente específicos para evitar infecciones que puedan poner en riesgo su vida.

Durante más de 20 años, Judith ha sido una maestra dedicada que continúa presentándose a enseñar a sus alumnos a pesar del dolor.

Ahora viaja de Loreto a Guadalajara cada 3 semanas para recibir tratamiento especializado, enfrentando este proceso con una fortaleza admirable. A lo largo de este camino ha atravesado múltiples rondas de quimioterapia y tratamientos biológicos; sin embargo, el tratamiento continúa, ya que alcanzar la remisión en su caso es más complejo de lo habitual.

Hasta hace poco, su seguro médico estaba cubierto por la empresa donde trabajaba mi papá, pero esa cobertura ya no está disponible. Mantener un seguro privado se ha vuelto extremadamente costoso para nuestra familia.

Nuestro objetivo es recaudar $470,000 MXN
para cubrir un año completo del seguro médico de mi mamá.Esto le permitirá continuar recibiendo el tratamiento y la atención que necesita.

After 8 years of searching for the correct diagnosis and receiving several incorrect treatments that worsened her condition, my mom Judith was finally diagnosed with two different types of cutaneous lymphoma at the same time — an extremely rare and complex case with very few documented cases worldwide.

During those years, the disease progressed until it covered nearly 80% of her skin, severely affecting her quality of life. Because of the nature of her illness, her medical care must be highly specialized to prevent infections that could put her life at risk.

For more than 20 years, Judith has been a dedicated teacher who continues to show up for her students despite the pain she faces.

She now travels from Loreto to Guadalajara every 3 weeks for specialized treatment, facing this journey with remarkable strength. Along the way, she has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy and biological treatments; however, treatment continues because reaching remission in her case is more complex than usual.

Until recently, her medical insurance was covered through my father’s employer, but that coverage is no longer available. Maintaining private insurance has now become extremely expensive for our family.

Our goal is to raise $470,000 MXN
to cover one full year of my mom’s medical insurance. This will allow her to continue receiving the treatment and care she needs.
