The last thing I remember when I gave up on my dream of being an airline pilot was in Syria, before we left, when my mother was taking me from our place to our grandparents. The roads were full of dead corpses. I saw dead people with no heads or no hands or legs. I was so shocked. I still prayed for them. The cold days were long, but the nights were always longer for me. When the sun was going down, the temperature drops, I could feel the freezing air against my cheeks. I was one of many children fighting to survive the winter in Syria during the war, and as the conditions turn treacherous, I was in desperate need of warm clothes, blankets and food. That time I knew I could not continue what I dreamed of, to be an airline pilot . in 2016 while being refuge in turkey I got sponsored by a church and I came to Canada, I felt that I can make it to fly planes for peace not wars. I applied to an aviation school after finishing my high school, and now am a month away to finish my private pilot license. But paying a $300 per flight is really too hard to pay for me and for my family. I am still  doing really good at school but tuition is my only obstacle.   and I will continue to do that. I want to finish my education, to help my family, and to help other people they want to learn.  I got a lot of educational, emotional, and psychological support. I am also really sad because of the unknown future waiting for me. Every day I wonder where I will be tomorrow. Yes, it’s an unknown future, when money is the only way.
