My name is Judith Gilmore, "Judi".

My husband was diagnosed at the beginning of Nov 2025 with Stage 4 Melanoma Lung Cancer. It has also spread to his hip, chest, and knee. They will be starting him on immunotherapy using Obdivo and Yervoy. Both are very expensive drugs. Ken has been permanently disabled since 1997 due to 5 herniated discs, so our income is limited. We make $200 more a month, over the limit for full Medicaid. We are raising money to pay off our bills of $78,446 and our co-pays. We do not know how much the co-pays are going to be yet.

We just need a break and some breathing room. In 2013, our 2 and a half-year-old granddaughter was murdered. The 6 years of trial in California about wiped us out financially. We finally got justice, 25 to life, in Jan 2019. In Feb 2019, our dog died. Then Covid hit, and our son passed. In Aug 2025, our daughter was diagnosed at 40 years of age with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Now, at the beginning of Nov 2025, my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma Lung Cancer. We need help. And any amount would help. I am watching my husband and best friend deteriorate drastically in front of me. It's sad...
