Help Jude: Wrexham's Talented 10-Year-Old

Selected to Play for Wales in the European Pool Championships!

Meet Jude Halfpenny-a bright, talented, and resilient young boy from Wrexham. At just 10 years old, Jude has been selected to represent Wales in the Under-15 European Pool Championships in Ireland this November 2025.

This is an incredible achievement for such a young player, and he's eager to seize this opportunity to grow, learn, and showcase his skills on an international stage.

Jude's Journey: Jude has faced numerous challenges in his young life. He suffers from ADHD, ASD, and other medical issues that make daily life a bit more difficult. Despite these hurdles, Jude's passion for pool provides him with a much-needed escape and a source of strength. He's often seen practicing for hours at the Gresford Royal British Legion, accompanied by his loyal emotional support dog, Luna. Jude plays for many local adult teams, and the encouragement and guidance he has received from the Wrexham pool community have been invaluable.

This year has also been tough health-wise, with many hospital stays. Yet, Jude always bounces back with determination and joy-ready to practice more, improve his skills, and chase his dreams.

Why We Need Help: To attend the European Championships in Ireland, Jude requires assistance with travel costs, accommodation, passport expenses, food, and other essentials.

Our goal is to raise £2,000 to cover these expenses, allowing Jude to focus on his game and represent his country with pride.
