My 6 year old rescue cat Jude has had lifelong health issues due to a rough beginning as a colony cat. He is underweight, has chronic inflammation of his stomach and intestines, and now is displaying kidney disease at an advanced rate for a relatively young cat. Over the years I have spent roughly $10,000 on testing, medication, and imaging.

Despite his challenges, Jude remains playful, loving, and cuddly. He loves people and treats. He deserves to keep living a good life and to have his suffering minimized. But these new diagnoses require expensive testing and imaging beyond my current financial capacity.

Anything donated here will directly go to paying Jude’s vet bills, including imaging, blood tests, medications, and related costs like anaesthetic. I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t need help. Jude is not insurable under pet insurance plans because he has pre-existing conditions so I have not been able to secure a policy for him that will accept him or not charge ridiculous premiums.
