Help Jude Fight His Brain Tumor with Love and Strength

Hi everyone,

My name is Clarissa, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit as Jude’s mom.

Jude is my world — a sweet, funny, and bright 9-year-old with a heart full of love. He’s autistic, and while he experiences the world in his own special way, he fills it with the things he loves most: trains (especially the fast ones), Marble mazes, Marvel hero’s, and his precious blue Sonic the Hedgehog plush, who’s always by his side.

A few weeks ago, everything changed.

Jude started experiencing concerning symptoms — loss of balance, seizure-like episodes, and moments of major confusion. As a mom, I knew something was wrong, and after a series of tests and scans, we got the devastating news: Jude has a brain tumor, about the size of a quarter.

Hearing those words was beyond terrifying. It felt like my whole world came crashing down, and the fear of what comes next is overwhelming.

Jude’s surgery is scheduled in just a couple of weeks to remove the tumor, followed by recovery and potentially more treatments depending on what the doctors find. His autism makes things more complicated, as his medical needs go beyond the usual, requiring specialized care that accounts for both his neurological and developmental needs.

We are doing everything we can to be strong for Jude, but the emotional and financial strain is a lot for one family to carry. Between hospital bills, travel to specialists, and therapies, the costs are adding up quickly.
