I’m raising £3,500 for urgent medical treatment for my best friend’s son, Jude, a brave 24-year-old from Cagayan de Oro City in the southern Philippines, who is facing a relapse of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and needs chemotherapy as soon as possible.

Jude is a typical young Filipino man — full of energy, always smiling, and passionate about basketball. He loves playing with his brother and friends and dreams of building a better life for his family. But in July 2024, his world turned upside down when he discovered a lump in his chest. After a series of tests, Jude was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Thanks to the incredible determination of his family — and despite the overwhelming cost — they managed to pay for his chemotherapy. By December 2024, Jude had successfully completed treatment and was declared cancer-free.

But just three months later, in March 2025, Jude noticed new lumps appearing on his chest and neck. Fearing the worst, he and his mother flew to Manila to undergo a PET scan. In April 2025, their worst fear was confirmed: the cancer had returned.

This time, the family has no remaining financial resources to cover the treatment. Jude’s mother is unemployed and has already exhausted all means to support her son’s fight the first time around. They are heartbroken — not just by the diagnosis, but by the financial wall standing in the way of Jude’s survival.
