Hi there!

I am finally getting gender affirming surgery! I have been lucky enough to find support from loved ones around me. I am anticipating needing financial help. I am in school for nursing, but also have a full time job. I am lucky enough to be able to take time off work during my recovery, but my partner will be working overtime for the time being to supplement my income. I will be receiving FMLA pay, but it might not be much help. Anything helps, even just some positive words or support.

My name is Jude! I love helping others. I work in healthcare and try to be the best advocate for all the patients I see. I live with my partner and our four cats. I love reading, building Legos, and learning new things! I love doing deep dives on random topics. I am wanting to become a nurse, and have been working hard towards that goal.

Life is hard these days, especially for the trans community. Whatever I don’t need that comes from this fund will go to other LGBTQ+ pals that are in need of support. We have to look out for each other. I’m not expecting much and rarely ask for anyone’s help, but if you’d love to help me out during this vulnerable period of time, just know it is much appreciated.
