Hello from Jude & Baby,

For the past year, we were blessed to have found our own slice of heaven in the foothills of Altadena. Having almost given up on California entirely, I fell in love with the area, the animals, and the little quaint equestrian town. My dog, Baby, also loved her freedom to roam and explore just outside of our trailer and on numerous hikes right where the fire broke out.

In California, living in the hillside comes with a risk. Everything within a 2-mile radius from our home was destroyed in the Eaton Canyon fire. Luckily, I am safe with my dog, my car, and a few belongings. We were able to evacuate, leaving everything behind. Our loss is minimal compared to those who lived in the area for a generation.

As I take it day by day, I am creating this GoFundMe for people who are reaching out to offer support and looking for a way to do so. I am welcoming any assistance to recover my personal paperwork, car title, registration, and will begin to rebuild.
