Help Jude and His Family Rebuild After a Devastating Fire
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Community,
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts to share the story of Jude and Jen Hardesty , a dedicated mechanic from Fairbanks who works for AWE/ Lynden, and his family. On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, their home was tragically lost to a fire, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
While Jude and his wife are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support they have already received, including clothing donations, they are still in need of assistance as they navigate this difficult journey. Below are the clothing sizes for those who wish to help:
- **Women's**: Size 8 pants, Size 8 shoes
- **Men's**: 34x34 pants, Size 10.5 shoes
- **Girls**: Size 5 pants, Size 11 shoes
- **Girls**: Size 3-4 pants, Size 9 shoes
In addition to clothing, gift cards to local stores such as Fred Meyer, Walmart, and Safeway would be immensely appreciated. These can be dropped off at Alaska West.
We are also asking for monetary donations to help Jude and his family cover essential food and household expenses as they work to rebuild their lives. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference.
Eadie Hamberlin and I have the family’s permission to launch this campaign, and we are committed to ensuring that all funds raised will go directly to helping them during this challenging time.
Thank you for your kindness and support. Together, we can help Jude and his family find their footing again and rebuild their lives.
With gratitude,
