A few months ago, Juanjose Amador Jr. was diagnosed with Chronic kidney disease stage IV. Juanjose is 20 years old. His treatment consists of a kidney transplant surgery as well as continuing medication.

Juanjose grew up loving the ocean and was attending school to become a marine biologist. Despite these trials, the spirit of this special young man is still bright and strong, obvious to everyone he meets with his beaming smile.
