Two years ago, our dear friend Juanito bravely battled lymphoma. He went through every round of chemotherapy and radiation with incredible strength—and thankfully, he beat it. But the toll on his immune system has left him vulnerable.

Today, Juanito faces a new challenge: a severe lung condition that makes it extremely difficult for him to breathe. In the past few months, he has been in and out of the hospital, and even walking across the room leaves him out of breath. Because of this, he can no longer do many things—including working.

The mounting hospital bills and his inability to work have placed him in a very tough financial situation. This fundraiser is to help Juanito cover his daily living costs—rent, groceries, and basic needs—so that he can focus fully on his recovery without the added stress of financial hardship.
