When Juana Brown and her husband, Dan, moved to Boundary County in 2015, they knew immediately they had found home. Since then, the couple has become woven into the fabric of the community they love, showing up for their new friends and embracing the small‑town feel and people they have grown to love.
Many will recognize Juana’s warm smile from her work at Koverage Building Supply, where she has become a familiar and friendly face to customers and contractors alike.
Today, the Browns are facing a challenge, and they are humbly asking for their community's help. Following a recent diagnosis of melanoma and the surgery that followed, Juana and Dan have been left with significant medical expenses. While Medicare provides coverage, the out-of-pocket costs have created a financial hardship for a family that has spent years giving so much to so many.
The Browns now need approximately $3,000 to help cover these medical bills, a price tag, they are struggling to pay.
As Boundary County has done time and again, the community is stepping forward to support one of its own. Friends, neighbors, and those who have been touched by Juana’s kindness are encouraged to help however they can.
