We’re reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to support someone incredibly dear to us— Juan Pablo!

Juan is more than a friend. He’s family to us.

If you know our family, you’ve heard his name or seen pictures of Juan with us and Jacob. Juan has been like a brother to Jesse and an uncle to Jacob. During Erica’s campaign in 2023, he was always there for her—sacrificing his own time, energy, and resources to stand beside her every step of the way. He’s been the kind of friend who shows up not just for the celebrations, but for the hard times too—without question, without hesitation.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

Juan was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and begins treatment on July 1. The road ahead won’t be easy. His treatment requires him to step back from some of his paralegal work, which will place a strain on his finances at a time when medical bills, basic necessities, and living expenses will only grow.

We’re asking our community—and anyone who knows us and the kind of person Juan is—to stand with him during this fight.
