As some of you may know our family member was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Some know him as Angelo, some Juan Love, but we know him as a brother, a son, a father, an uncle, a friend, a free spirit and a warrior. While he has gratefully completed his surgery and is healing at this time, It's been a rough road, he's fighting sickness everyday and he still has chemo ahead of him. We wanted to put this "go fund me" out there to help cover incoming bills, meds, his feeding tube formula and equipment, and any other expenses that are growing and still ahead.
While his motivation is down, his spirit remains strong through every ache, pain and hurl. He may be beaten, but he is not defeated for a warrior of his stature does not back down.
With a lot of love, help and encouragement, we can all help build his strength and get behind him with his fight against cancer.
"life is a shipwreck be we must not forget to sing in the lifeboats.” Voltaire
He wrote the following the night before his surgery...
Esophagogasterectomy. That's the name of procedure that I'm having just three and a half hours from now. There will be no sleeping tonight I guess. I have to have this procedure because I have cancer of the esophagus. I couldn't believe it either but it is true. It's real and it's now. Im terrified but , I really don't have a choice in the matter I'm just going to do the motions and God willing , I'll come out of this alive and cancer free. I just want to say that I love you all and if you can read this its because we are friends. And you have brought joy and smiles into my life and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. When I get over this you are going to see me in a new direction in life. One that I almost missed. Stay tuned my brothers and sisters. Juan Love is not done yet. One Love!
Thank you all in advance! One Love!
