Help Juan Lara Hop Back Strong: The Rebuild Journey

Hey everyone,

My name is Juan Lara , I owned a 1990 Chevy caprice that’s been know over 25 years. It breaks my heart to even write this, but I recently lost my lowrider in a devastating fire while driving on the highway. One minute I was cruising like I always do feeling the engine hum, music going, proud of the build I put my soul into. The next, smoke started rising, and within moments, flames took over. I barely had time to pull over and get out safely.

I’m beyond grateful I made it out unharmed but my car didn’t. And for those who know, you know: a lowrider isn’t just a car. It’s a piece of you. It’s time, sweat, money, passion, culture, pride. That ride was 25 years in the making, built with love, late nights, and the help of good friends.

Starting from scratch feels impossible right now. That’s why I’m asking for your help.

I’m trying to raise $2000 to help me start over to build again, piece by piece. Whether it’s a few dollars or just a share, anything helps and means more than I can say.

Mi nombre es Juan Lara , yo era dueño 1990 Chevy caprice eso lleva más de 25 años siendo parte de la historia. Con el corazón en la mano les comparto que recientemente perdí mi lowrider en un incendio mientras manejaba por la carretera. En un momento estaba disfrutando del viaje como siempre motor rugiendo, música sonando, orgulloso del carro que construí con tanto esfuerzo y al siguiente, humo y fuego. Apenas tuve tiempo de orillarme y salir con vida.

Gracias a Dios estoy bien físicamente, pero el carro no se salvó. Y para los que saben, un lowrider no es solo un carro. Es parte de uno. Es pasión, cultura, trabajo duro, familia, identidad. Ese carro fue 25 años de esfuerzo, noches largas, y manos amigas que me ayudaron a levantarlo desde cero.

No tengo seguro completo que cubra este tipo de pérdida, y empezar otra vez desde cero se siente abrumador. Por eso estoy pidiendo su ayuda.

Estoy tratando de reunir $2000 para poder comenzar de nuevo y volver a construir, pieza por pieza. Si puedes donar algo, por pequeño que sea, o simplemente compartir esta campaña, te lo agradeceré con todo el corazón.
