Help Juan Continue the Fight!

Hola todos,

My name is Katara and I love to brag about my coworkers who have become more like familia to me. Together we fight for justice for our Black and Brown communities all while centering nature and our Mother Earth.

Helping to lead this work is our hermano Juan Roberto. Juan is a father, an environmental advocate, a public health professional, a military veteran, and an all around amazing individual who our team cares for so deeply. However, Juan has had a recent bout of health issues which, just like for many of us, has caused financial troubles. Unfortunately, the VA hospital has been dropping the ball on sending Juan his needed medications which has led us to take this step of finding additional sources of funding. Juan has had dedicated involvement within the community and we need him here, strong as ever, to continue the fight of justice for our people and to guide his daughters through this crazy thing we call life.
