On Thursday, October 31, Juan Gudino, a truck driver, was involved in a tragic accident that could have ended his life and completely totaled his truck, which was his only source of income. It is a miracle from God that he is still with us and proof that God was with him. He provides for a family of four, and this accident has completely devastated him and his family.

An irresponsible driver went out of their way and sped through a red light, causing them to run right into the path of the truck. To avoid killing the driver and running over his car, Juan had to swerve away from the line of impact.

The collision caused the truck, which was loaded with 88,000 pounds of material that he was transporting, to flip over and crash into a pole.

This collision resulted in Juan's legs being stuck between the steering wheel and the seat of the truck for over 40 minutes while some good Samaritans tried to help him until the fire department arrived to tear open the roof of the truck and cut through the steering wheel. We are extremely grateful to the fire department team that helped get him out of the truck and to the hospital, as well as to the three men who did their best to aid him.

This accident has left him without his only source of income and, for the time being, physically unable to work. His wife is a security guard and a custodian, with not much time during the day to care for him, and she has to work overtime to try to make up for the significant financial loss their family has experienced.
