JR’s Pups‑N‑Stuff is a nonprofit rescue in Southern Wisconsin dedicated to giving animals a second chance—no matter their age, breed, or medical needs. With a team that is 90% volunteer‑based, we rely on the generosity of our community through donations, adoptions, and the incredible people who give their time to help animals find the loving homes they deserve.

A Safe Haven in Salem, WI

A few years ago, we moved from West Allis to a beautiful 5‑acre property in Salem, Wisconsin. Here, our dogs can go indoors and outdoors throughout the day, enjoy large playpens, and receive constant love and attention from staff and volunteers.

An Unexpected Emergency

In the last six months, we learned that our septic system must be relocated—a project estimated at $30,000. To make matters worse, the work will require digging up the playpens we just completed this past fall.

We’ve invested so much into making this property safe, enriching, and comfortable for the animals in our care. This unexpected expense is a major setback, especially as we continue to manage significant medical cases.

Dogs Currently Needing Medical Care

Some of the dogs we’re helping right now include:

A dog battling Anaplasma, Ehrlichia, and Lyme disease

Two dogs completing heartworm treatment

And many more who require ongoing medical support

These animals depend on us—and we depend on you.
