Help Us Get a Vehicle to Support Rescue, Education & Outreach!

J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue (JRAAR) is launching a fundraiser to purchase a vehicle that will help us expand and enhance our impact across Wisconsin! Our goal is to raise $30,000 to purchase a reliable minivan or SUV to support the critical work we do.

Why We Need a Vehicle

Every year, we:

Attend hundreds of educational events at libraries, schools, and nature centers

Host adoption events and help rehome thousands of exotic pets

️ Offer pet sitting and aquarium maintenance to ensure exotic pets continue to receive proper care

Reach an average of 120 people per event, teaching about invasive species, responsible pet ownership, and conservation

But we’ve hit a roadblock—our animal care budget doesn’t have room for a vehicle. That’s why we’re turning to our amazing community for help.

Where Your Money Goes

Your support will go directly toward:

Purchasing a new or gently used minivan or SUV

Transporting animals to and from events and veterinary care

Hauling equipment for outreach and adoption events

If the vehicle costs less than our $30,000 goal, any remaining funds will be used to care for the animals—covering food, supplies, vet visits, and more.

Bonus for Major Donors

If a single donor gives $10,000 or more, we’ll proudly display your name or business logo on the vehicle to recognize your incredible contribution.
