Hi my name is Vickie, my cousin just went through the worst surgery imaginable.

Jr is a fighter, a warrior, a father to five, a grandfather, a husband to Laurie, a genuine down to earth person and serves as a rock in so many peoples lives. On  Friday July 9, 2021 my cousin Jr became an amputee.  Losing a limb is a traumatic event, a life changing experience far from easy.

While the length of Jr’s recovery is still very unclear, his medical expenses and need for future assistance is immense.  Follow up amputee care isn’t talked about much,  but it is essential and a vital part of not only your happiness but health and recovery.  Some items that junior will need that could help him tremendously will include: Suction shower handle(s), shower chair, hands free knee crutch , grip socks, crutches and walkers , gel ice packs, handheld massager, ampushield (hard shell cover that protects your limb), and a prosthesis. 

Since learning that he was in the hospital one question that has been constantly asked by everyone is “how can we help?”

We’ve set up this page as an avenue to not only generate some assistance for my cousin, but also to show Jr that there are countless people out there rooting for his recovery 

We cannot understate how much all of the support, love, prayers and encouragement have meant to us and we look forward to the day Jr is back spreading the positive energy that he is known for.  If there is anyone who has the drive and motivation to overcome any obstacle its Jr. He is a strong willed person. 

The road will be long and hard, but Jr will be an even bigger inspiration to everyone he knows.
