Hey everyone. My name is JP Udenenwu. Some of you know me as a friend, a business owner, Middle School Director, etc. I need your help. 2 weeks ago, something tragic happened in my family. Our childhood home was destroyed in a devastating fire. They lost basically everything. We’re thankful to God that everyone is okay and no one was injured, that’s the most important thing. But now it feels like my mom is back to square one.

This is devastating for many reasons. For one, this house symbolized a new beginning for my family after my father died. We weren’t left with much. My mother had to step up in an incredible way and raise 5 children. We lost the current house that we were in at the time as well as most of what we had to our name. But with no educational background she found a way to get her GED and 3 jobs. Things were tough but by the grace of God my mom was able to buy this house. It was a HUGE accomplishment for this single mother and now the house is gone.

There’s more I can say, but at the end of the day, I’m reaching out for help for my mother. Would love to get her a new house. My stepdad and 2 sisters were living there also. I wish I was financially in a situation to be able to help her resolve this entire issue by herself. While my wife and I are giving her some money towards everything, it won’t be nearly enough to rebuild. Not sure $50k is enough but we will start from there. This will go towards getting her a new house and furnishing it as well as other things my family may need to replace.

If you have any money to give, it would mean the world. At the very least, sharing this helps out a-lot. My mother is also asking for help in the area of legal advice navigating insurance concerning the house if anyone knows a lawyer that will donate that.
