Yesterday, our community was struck by the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene. In the midst of this chaos, JP Patterson, one of our dedicated instructors at Folly Jiu Jitsu, lost his home to a fire. Miraculously, he and his faithful dog survived, but he has lost everything else—his belongings, his home, and his sense of security.

JP is known for his passion for Jiu Jitsu and his commitment to teaching (he relentlessly teaches 5 days a week). While Folly Jiu Jitsu is a collaborative effort, JP's role as an instructor has touched many, fostering a community of strength and resilience.
