My name is Joyce, and I am in my 60s. I am healthy, hardworking, and currently in need of reliable personal transportation. For many years, I have worked as an in-home senior care provider, helping care for others in my community. I currently work 24 hours a week, but due to financial hardship, I was unable to keep up with my car payments, and my vehicle was repossessed.

Without transportation of my own, I now rely on friends and family for rides or use Lyft and Uber to get to work and appointments. The people in my life have been incredibly gracious and supportive, and I am deeply thankful for their help. However, I long to regain my independence so I can work more hours, travel farther for additional job opportunities, and avoid the ongoing expense of rideshare services.

I am hoping to purchase a safe and reliable used minivan, ideally a 2008–2012 model with reasonable mileage and plenty of life left in it. Having my own vehicle again would allow me to pick up additional work shifts, continue serving seniors in need, and once again help members of my church and community who need transportation to medical appointments and other essential errands.
