Help Joyce Choate and her Family!

Hello my name is Amanda. My family and I are friends with Joyce Choate and her son Greg Choate. They are in need of our help!

Greg was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension and is in need of an extensive, evasive lung surgery (PTE: Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy) to remove a large blood clot from his left lung. They will have to travel from Colorado to San Diego for the surgery.

Joyce and Greg will be traveling to San Diego on May 2nd for a week of pre-op for Greg at UC San Diego. With surgery and post-op recovery to follow. They will both have out of pocket lodging and travel expenses. Along with medical expenses. Both Joyce and Greg will be out of work for 8 weeks or more.

Joyce is a retired teacher who substitutes frequently during the school year as well as working a second part time job. Not only does Joyce work tirelessly to cover her own expenses, she takes care of her mother, and helps her son and grandson. With Joyce having to miss 8 weeks from both jobs, her entire family will feel the effect. Her son will be out of work as well. They will need all the support they can get!
