Hello everyone! My name is Sharonne but everyone knows me best by my middle name, Joy!

I’m 52 and I was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It is an Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and has already spread to my lymph nodes near my left breast since my original diagnosis in June 2023. An MRI biopsy in September 2023 confirmed another tumor in my right breast. My goal is to continue to work as I go through my treatment.

As most already know, I suffered a heart attack on April 8, 2022, which caused me to exhaust all my sick leave from work as I recovered and completed Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Because I don’t have any medical leave, I had to request advanced sick leave, which put me in the negative when I have my medical appointments. On December 6, 2023, I had lumpectomy surgery on both breasts. I will be starting radiation treatment very soon. It’s going to be a long, tough road for me (BUT GOD!!), and any donations would be much appreciated. This GoFundMe is to assist with ALL expenses (bloodwork, medications, radiation, doctor visits, biopsies, MRIs, CT scans, PET scans, hospital stays, various procedures, on top of my monthly bills) as I get ready to beat the breaks off breast cancer! Any donations that may be left over and not used for my expenses will be paid forward to someone else in need or charity!
