Hi, I'm Joy. I'm disabled by Long Covid, POTS, CPTSD & hEDS. I got Covid in August of 23' and my life has never been the same. I went from owning and operating a regenerative flower farm and plant nursery to being nearly bedridden. After 1.5 years of battling to get the proper diagnosis, I am doing slightly better, but can only walk very short distances before my heart rate spikes into tachycardia. I miss the world, people, nature, plants. A wheelchair like this would allow me to leave my house without jeopardizing my health.

I cannot work, and I'm still awaiting my disability, SSDI, after 18 months of battling the US government. So, I am currently, and have been, living entirely off my humble and dwindling savings. I am grateful to have medi-cal, but they will only cover a giant, 300lb wheelchair that I have no way of transporting, moving or even fitting in my home. Of course, the type of wheelchair I need is not covered by insurance.

If you have anything to give, I would greatly appreciate it. I know the world is extra scary and stressful right now, and everyone is feeling inflation, so I hate to ask for help, but I genuinely need it. Thank you!
