Help Joy fight cancer!

On March 1st our world came crashing down. I took mom to the ER because she had pain in her hip and wasn't able to walk. We were thinking maybe a broken hip... not cancer. The news devastated us all. By the 12th we were on a plane to Seattle for more tests and to see Dr. Kaplan at Swedish. He's the best oncologist and we're very fortunate he took on her case. Mom has multiple scans and tests. By the time we knew she had cancer it had already metastasized throughout her body. The news was not good but we are not giving up without a fight! She is undergoing chemo every 3 weeks and radiation daily. Once she finishes with radiation we can go home and she can do her chemo at home.
My mom is the most selfless person I know. She's always there to help others and support others. Cancer is not cheap, even with good insurance. There is a benefit for her on April 21st at the Elks lodge but people are asking how to donate from afar so therefore I created this acct. I want to thank everyone for the support as we battle this ugly disease.
