Joy is an incredibly strong friend and single mother who has been struggling with breast cancer since 2015.   She has been through four excruciating surgeries, and needs a fifth surgery, involving removing a rib, as the cancer is spreading.  As if that's not enough, she found out that she needs to find a new home by Christmas.  She cannot have the surgery until she has a home in which to recuperate, and she has no money to move.   She has nowhere to go.
