Help Jovita on her recovery from cancer

Donation protected
2020 has been a tough year in more than one way.  On December 13th I was told that my young sister,Jovita was diagnosed with breast cancer after a breast lump removal surgery was performed on her 10 days prior (Dec 3rd 2020)

This is my younger sister, jovita in her early twenties. She is so strong and amazing. People who know her personally or even have just briefly met her can easily describe her as very friendly, cheerful, radiates joy and very confident. She is very passionate in everything she does. She is very athletic and wanted to persue martial arts. She worked as a zumba instructor before her surgery.
I still find it so hard to believe that she is suffering from breast cancer. This came as a shock to my whole family since she is so young.

Begining of December 2020, jovita went to a hospital because she was concerned about a lump that she felt in her breast and wanted to get it removed. We all thought the lump was benign and just went to the hospital as a normal breast lump removal surgery.
Dec 3rd she was scheduled to have a lump removal surgery from her breast. What expected to be a quick half an hour surgery ended up being a couple hours surgery.
The doctor who performed the surgery on her showed alot of concern. She said the lump was very abnormal and it was enrooted deep in her left breast and they need to get the lump tested because she sensed it might be cancerous.
We were all shocked to hear this and were anxiously waiting for the tests results.

On the 13th December 2020 the tests results came in and we got the news we all were afraid of.  The lump that was removed from her breast has cancer cells.
Jovita and my family were devastated. I didn't even know that someone in her early twenties can even have breast cancer.

The next days  until today has been a journey of anxiety, so many unanswered questions, the uncertainty and  different tests that followed to further confirm cancer(because her lump removal wasn't done in a cancer specialist hospital) which includes MRI, CT scan, fine needle test, blood test, anesthesia test, biopsy of her right breast and a bunch of others tests.
Jovita has triple negative breast cancer. My mom along with jovita consulted several doctors. They all said that a mastectomy (removal of breast) needs to be performed and then she can start her treatment so they can prevent the cancer cells before they even begin to to go from her left breast to other parts of her body. In her case since she is young, and the cancer is triple negative the cancer cells have the tendency to multiply really fast.

Thankfully jovi was accepted in one of the best hospitals in Lahore, Pakistan  that specializes in cancer. My mom being a nurse said that they hospital looked really good. That was the biggest relive that Jovita can be treated in there. But our greatest hope is in God alone!

Her CT scan and MRI showed that the cancer hasn't spread in any of her organs. I am so grateful to God for this.
The mastectomy will just be performed on her left breast. Which needs to be done soon because since she is so young her cells multiply faster.

Today she was scheduled to meet with her anesthesiologist  to see how she reacts to anesthesia before they perform mastectomy.

Jovi is a fighter literally and figuratively!
She is strong and I know she will come through. That this cancer will be behind her.

We believe in a God who is a healer. And I am whole heartedly believing God for a full recovery. I know jovita and my family won't be in this forever. That God has great plans for Jovita.

There are some ways you can support jovita and our family through this difficult time.

1)Pray: Jovita needs your prayer. Please set aside some time and pray on ehalf of jovita. Our God is a wonder worker. And nothing is impossible for God. Im so thankful for my friends who are already praying for Jovita in USA and pakistan.

2) Financially:  Being outside of the U.S.  in Pakistan the the treatments, surgery is not covered any insurance.
the treatments, surgery, traveling back and forth to hospital is very costly.
We would appreciate any big or small  of  your support. you can give  directly on this page. And I will be sending jovi the funds to pay for her surgery and treatments that will be contributed through this campaign.

3) please share this post.
You can absolutely support our family by sharing jovita's story on your personal social media.

Any remaining money will go towards young women fighting breast cancer so we can help with the recovery of these beautiful women

I on behalf of jovi and my family thank you for reading and your support. Please keep Jovita in your prayers. She is very precious. She is so strong and is dealing with it very courageously. She amazes me everytime. She is a true young fighter.
She is on facebook too, if you personally want to text her and encourage her. She would appreciate encouraging words.

I will be updating.
