Help Jovannah's Kids: Funeral & Family Support

My name is Dianne Bristol. I never processed the thought that someday I'd be sharing with you on behalf of my friend Jovannah Ross. She passed away in a car accident on the evening of Wednesday, July 7. Jovannah enjoyed celebrating life and lived it to the fullest. She would want us to celebrate her life today. Jovannah accepted Jesus into her life about 10 years ago and it is such a comfort knowing she is in heaven with Jesus.

It is good that our hearts hurt and that we miss her for it shows how much we loved her and how much she loved us. There is a time for mourning and crying, but ultimately we need to stand up and choose hope & joy as Jovannah would want us to do.

Jovannah was from Omaha, Nebraska. She has 3 children; Jeromie, Mela and Jaheem, whom she adored. She did everything she could to show love and to provide for them. Her memory lives on through them, but she can no longer provide for them.

Now we are asking for help to provide for her children in their mother's absence. They have some significant costs to cover; 1) Funeral costs. 2) Transportation; Jeromie's car was totaled in the accident, Jaheem needs a car to get to work. 3) Ongoing short term living expenses.

We want to bless this family and provide for them, as they start their new life without their mother.
