Jovan Wolf, a beloved friend and community member, is in need of our support!

Jovan is a trans Blasian (Black / Asian) artist, business owner, and dedicated community leader who has worked tirelessly to create a life of stability against all odds.

One of his greatest accomplishments was becoming a homeowner, something he has dreamt about and worked towards for decades. Jovan has poured everything into making this dream a reality. He imagined this place to be a sanctuary not only for himself and his animals but also for his trans community in need of a place to stay.

Unfortunately, this year has thrown an overwhelming set of challenges that involve a plethora of health issues, intimate partner violence and emotional and mental health disparities. He is at a critical crossroads and needs his community's support. He is currently facing the real possibility of losing his home to foreclosure.

After being suddenly laid off from his job of 5 years he did what most people do: hustled, submitted hundreds of job applications and took any gig that came his way. Unfortunately, this has not proven to be sustainable. He went back to the drawing board, leaning into the skills and passions that have always fueled him:

He launched a photo booth and photography business, recently acquiring his LLC, with a vision to make it a leading creative venture to financially sustain him.

⛓️ He revived his leather fashion work, designing bold, unique pieces that have already been showcased in multiple fashion shows, music videos and photoshoots.

He is confident that these ventures will bring him financial stability, but just needs a jump start from his community to get him over this threshold. The bills are overdue and piling up, he is behind on his mortgage, the utilities are at risk of being shut off, and his car may be repossessed at any moment. Jovan recently freed himself from a long-term abusive relationship, where his ex-partner refused to contribute financially, leaving him to carry most of the weight of everything alone.

Now, He is fighting to rebuild his life, save his home, and create a future where he can thrive, instead of simply surviving.
