Hi, my name is Journi, and I’m currently a sophomore at Spelman College. I’m proud to be continuing my education at my dream school but I’m reaching out because I need help to stay on this path.

My mom has raised me as a single parent and has carried the financial responsibility primarily alone. She has done everything she can to support me, often sacrificing her own needs to make sure I could focus on school. Despite family challenges, I’ve stayed committed to my education and would like to very much finish what I started at Spelman College.

As a sophomore and sociology major, college expenses continue to add up with tuition, housing, books, and other fees. The financial gap has become difficult for us to manage on our own and so I’m asking for your support.

We’re in need of 9k towards my tuition and we’re on a time crunch. Funds are due by 5pm today. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would help ease the burden and allow me to remain focused on my studies at Spelman.
