Help Jourdan and Her Babies Bounce Back

Hi, my name is Jourdan, and I am fundraising to help myself and my two babies get back on our feet after a season of tough times.

A little background on me - I am a singer-songwriter, hypnotherapist, creative, and entrepreneur. I absolutely love what I do, but since I've become a mama, my priorities have shifted. I have a 4 year old son with special needs and a 15 month old son who just started running, so my hands are full! The energy and time needed to invest into my children's wellbeing needs to come first in this season of life, and I am at full capacity, holding SO much.

The last half of 2023 was so rough for my business that I ended up having to file for bankruptcy. Now that that's been filed and moved through, it's time to rebuild.

The rebuilding has been going well overall, but another setback happened last week... we got into a car accident.

I was in the car with both babies and thought a car was coming towards us - so I backed up quickly and unfortunately hit a pole and garbage container. Really hard :(

We are all safe physically, thank God, but mentally and emotionally I am drained. It feels like it's been one thing after another this season, and this situation just really hit home for me (literally).

After we arrived home shaken up, the tears finally poured out... along with all the panic, depression, anxiety over paying bills, and soul-deep exhaustion over being the default parent and main provider for my two sweet babies (ages 4 and 15 months) for far too long without proper support.

It takes a village... right?

The fact that this car accident is my fault means that I owe a high deductible and also need to pay for my rental car while my car is in the shop. The car is currently in the shop and I have the rental car... they estimate it will be in the shop for repair for 30 days, but could be longer.

It's been tough for me to ask for help in the past because I'm seen and known as the "strong one"... but sometimes, ya just gotta surrender and allow yourself to receive support.

I have been humbled time and time again this past year, so once again I come to my knees in Surrender and prayer.

All funds raised will come directly into my bank account to pay firstly for the car accident deductible, rental car costs, gas, and bills.
