Help Josue and Adrian as they recover from COVID

Hello Everyone, My name is Josefina. My family and I have organized this fundraiser to help support the Carbajal family in their time of need. The individuals in this photo are my cousin Mileidys her husband Josue and their 13 year old son Adrian. About three weeks ago Mileidys contracted COVID-19 and so did her husband Josue. Mileidys symptoms began to worsen two weeks ago and she was hospitalized. As she began treatment in the hospital the virus ravaged her body and Mileidys had to be intubated. Shortly after, she was admitted into the hospital, her husband also started to experience similar severe symptoms. Josue was also admitted into the hospital and put on a ventilator. The couples only son is currently being cared for by family members. After much intervention, sadly Mileidys lost her battle with COVID and passed away this past Saturday. Josue is still fighting for his life but showing some signs of a possible recovery . We have been hearing of these tragic stories ever since this pandemic started, but to see it with my own eyes and feel it so close to me has been truly heartbreaking. Our family is praying and hoping that Josue can recover and can begin to pick up the pieces of his fractured life without Mileidys.

Our family has set up this Go Fund Me to help Josue and Adrian pay for mounting bills, medical expenses and any other expenses that the pair will need help with.
