Hi, my name is Erica, and I’m reaching out as a mom asking for help for my daughter, Joslyn, who is 23 years old and has the biggest heart.
Joslyn chose cosmetology because she truly loves helping people feel confident, beautiful, and seen. Her days were spent lifting others up — whether through a fresh haircut, a smile in the mirror, or a moment of connection in her chair. Watching her bring joy to others has always been one of my greatest blessings as a parent. Especially when she told me the stories of thr women she helped with wigs for wishes. Making women feel better after losing their hair to cancer.
But on December 17th, everything changed.
She broke and dislocated her finger. She is waiting to see if she needs hand surgery. It is soooo crazy how a finger can cause so much pain and take so long to heal. Since the injury Joslyn hasn't been able to work. She has been doing everything she can just to stay afloat — stretching every dollar, staying hopeful, and pushing forward with quiet strength. Tonight she broke and this time it wasn't her finger. As a young adult trying to make it on her own its hard to ask for help. As her mom, it’s been incredibly hard to watch her struggle feeling hopeless and in pain.
Asking for help doesn’t come easily to her — or to me. But right now, she truly needs her community to help carry her through this season.
Your support — whether through a donation or simply sharing this page — or praying for her means more than I can express. It helps my daughter breathe a little easier, focus on getting back on her feet, and believe in the kindness of others during a time when she needs it most.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for seeing Joslyn, for caring, and for being part of her story.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will be a huge help toward hope, stability, and a fresh start for her.
