My name is Joslin. I’m raising funds due to being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I was diagnosed in April of 2023 with stage 3 colon cancer, then it spread to my ovaries. I had two major surgeries which caused me to no longer be able to work, and if you know me, you know I’m a worker! I saw a glimpse of hope as they said they had all the cancer, but now it’s spread to my pelvic area. With no foresight of another surgery, this has changed my diagnosis to stage 4. I was told I had 6-12 months without chemo and over a year with it. I’m at my 6-month mark since being told. I’m 44, and at this age, I hadn’t planned on all these doctors, travel, and funeral expenses, so I’m needing some help to relieve this stress off my immediate family and children I love so dearly. I’m praying I live out longer than what I’m being told and I promise I’m in the fight, fighting for my life. This saddens me to even have to do this, and quite frankly, it’s embarrassing. I wish I had set up life insurance for myself, but I didn’t. My children will have memories, and I will do my very best to make these funeral arrangements so they won’t have to. I’m just to the point of feeling ill that I’m scared. Please say a prayer for me. If you can’t donate, I completely understand as we all are going through hard times.
