Hi, my name is Josie. Many of you already know that in January, my husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Around the same time, I was wrongfully terminated from my job of 12 years—a place I dedicated myself to, only to lose my benefits during the exact moment my family needed them most.
To add to the heartbreak, my husband was also let go from the same workplace after courageously stepping in to protect children from a knife-wielding, mentally ill individual.
In the span of weeks, our lives were turned upside down.
Since then, we’ve relied on our savings to make ends meet, pay for costly medications, and continue the holistic practices that have been a lifeline in my husband’s healing journey. These natural remedies, along with mind, body, and spirit work, have made a huge difference in his health and our hope.
But the reality is—those savings are running thin.
I am a heavily committed natural medicine practitioner and I am dedicated to researching, learning, and applying holistic methods for healing. I’ve seen firsthand how these practices have supported my husband, and I’m determined to continue expanding my work so that I can:
