Help Josie Move Out
Donation protected
My friend Josie (aka Jojo) is in need of funds to move out of her family's house. She has recently graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering, but due to the lockdowns, she is unable to get an entry-level job in the industry. Two members of her family, which she lives with, are in the at-risk group for the Covid virus. She therefore feels like she can't get a job, as she would feel immensely guilty if they caught the virus because of her.
On top of this, her mental health is deteriorating, and her relationship with her family is spiraling on a downward trend. Both of these problems are exasperated by the lockdowns.
Right now, she's gunning for an English teacher job in South Korea. However, there is no guarantee that she will get this job.
Thus, the money raised would serve three purposes: moving expenses for when she decides to get out, emergency funds for the expenses the teaching job does not cover, and a hope offering to show her that there is a way out. I would like to raise enough money so that she doesn't have to worry about finances for at least a month. I know that many people are suffering financially right now, so I ask that you only give what you are lead to give. It doesn't have to be a huge amount of money, even $5 would help! The deadline for this fundraiser is in March 2021.
