My dear friend Josie Hughes Williams is facing an incredibly difficult season in her life, and she needs our help now more than ever.

In December 2024, Josie was diagnosed with a serious MRSA infection that turned her world upside down. She spent three weeks in the hospital fighting the infection and has been on strong antibiotics for over two months. Despite her best efforts, the illness made her unable to work. Since she is a single mother, she has no other source of income to care for herself and her two daughters.

Recently, the infection spread to her spine, requiring invasive spinal surgery to replace portions of several vertebrae. Josie is now in recovery, trying to regain her strength, while also parenting her two amazing school-aged daughters, who are doing their best to help—but it’s just not enough.

Josie is a fighter. She's a loving mother, a loyal friend, and someone who has always shown up for others in their time of need. Now it's our turn to show up for her.

Covering mounting medical bills and ongoing treatment

Basic living expenses while Josie is unable to work for the next several months
