My name is Jenn and I am starting this GoFundMe with my sister-in-law Deb to benefit my niece, Josie Davis. Josie, who is my niece and Deb's daughter, has been faced with a major speed bump in life. Josie has been diagnosed with stage 3a squamous cell carcinoma, a battle she fights with courage and determination every single day. Josie is a 46-year-old mother and grandmother. She loves her family very much and is trying to stay as positive as possible. Cancer is not just a physical and emotional burden; it comes with significant financial hardships. Despite undergoing two surgeries, she is currently in the midst of daily chemotherapy and radiation, Monday through Friday, all while trying to continue working to support herself. The costs of her treatments are overwhelming, making it hard to cover her medical bills and everyday living expenses. Deb is setting up a bank account for the funds to be distributed to so we can handle her financial needs on a daily bases for her. This will take the stress off of her of making sure everything is taken care of.
