Help Josiah get Therapies for Autism

This past September my sweet boy was diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and a rare form of insomnia. It was not a shock as I have been noticing signs and traits of ASD for quite some time and sleep has been insane since he was born but receiving a diagnosis of any kind can be a challenging adjustment. However, this diagnosis doesn't change how we see our sweet boy. It just helps us better understand him and the way his brain works and helps us better provide for his unique needs.

Sadly, we have found that insurance does not cover equipment and tools that he needs. Additionally, we have found that most therapies recommended(beyond what is covered by Regional Center) and equipment (none of which are covered by regional center) are very expensive. 

Josiah's greatest needs are specialized sensory therapy devices and a therapy/service dog. The 3 sensory devices we need most add up to $1,300. A therapy or service dog normally costs $15,000-$20,000 BUT we have a unique opportunity from a divine connection to get a therapy dog who would later qualify as a service dog for "only" $6,000.

It is hard to make a personal ask this big but I have not been able to work for 3 years (with no disability or unemployment for the past 2 yrs) due to my genetic connective tissue disorder (hEDS) progressing to the point that I cannot work or do household chores... or cook... or do any of my hobbies - but that is another story with its own financial demands and unique challenges on our family.
