Help Josiah Bump during this difficult time
My beautiful friends and loved ones… Early Sunday morning, every parent’s worst fear became a reality to two people I deeply love. Aidan, my dear, dear friend Josiah Bump’s son, unexpectedly left this world. To know Joe or Amie, you can only imagine how tragic this is. Both of them loved Aidan with every single fiber of themselves. This is truly the most horrific thing any parent could ever imagine and absolutely heartbreaking to anyone that knows them.
Aidan somehow gave a piece of himself to everyone he met. It was just so completely easy to love him. He filled his days with skateboarding, mastering his kendama and his life’s passion, his music. His soft heart, beautiful soul and creative mind touched deeply everyone he came across. His life was surrounded by love from his parents Josiah and Amie, Lucas his little brother, Jess - Josiah’s partner, Josh and Caleb his step father and brother and countless others that made up his family. As the first child born out of all our friends, and being the son of such special parents, I always thought of Aidan as a king of all the Sussex County children in my circle.
At a time like this, there’s nothing any of us feel we can do except send all our love to Josiah, Amie, Lucas and the rest of Aidan’s large, beautiful extended family. The shock, grieving and heartbreak of losing your child is more than anyone should be able to handle. The idea that finances come into play when seeing your child to rest is something that no parent should ever need to stress over during this time. So if you have anything to spare, please help to donate anything, anything at all. The smallest amount makes a world of difference. All funds will go to Aidan’s funeral expenses with anything left over to help any financial burden for Josiah and possibly help construct some kind of way to celebrate the life of Aidan.
