Help Josiah as he recovers from illness & surgery

Donation protected
Hello, everyone. My husband, Erik and I are asking for your help in supporting our friend, Josiah as he recovers from illness and surgery. Josiah is a great guy! He’s humble, kind and has a very warm and comforting presence. He’s a young 23yo single man, a worship team member at our church and he is a very gifted musician and vocalist. His passion for God is very evident in his life by how he worships and lives! Josiah was going to join the U.S. Navy just over a year ago until God instructed him to move to our town. That takes a lot of faith! On July 20th Josiah woke up from a deep sleep and felt as though his appendix would burst. He rushed to our local ER and had an emergency appendectomy. After less than a week into his recovery, Josiah was beginning to feel even more ill. He want back to the ER with terrible pain and a fever. They believed he had developed an abscesses infection, but they weren’t positive and sent him to another hospital for help. Once at the new hospital they admitted him for a few days and administered multiple rounds of antibiotics, but they could not find an abscess, so they sent him home to recover. After time lying low with family for a few days (who are unfortunately hours away from where he lives), Josiah returned home with the hope he could return to work and his normal life. Unfortunately, his pain persisted and he wasn’t getting better. After almost two weeks of bearing through the pain, Josiah drove himself to yet another hospital to seek help. On August 7th, his doctors discovered a very large abscess measuring 5.5in x 4.25 in his abdomen. He was immediately admitted to the hospital and had another surgery on August 8th, drain tubes were inserted to help dispel his infection and he was discharged. Josiah has been out of work for the last 3 weeks and will continue to be out of work for the unforeseeable future. Thankfully, he will be allowed to return to work after he has fully recovered and his tubes are removed! This is where we need your help and generosity! We would like your help paying Josiah’s bills and covering his everyday needs for so that he can recover and heal without worry! He needs help with his rent, car and utilities. We’d also like to make sure he’s connected with all the meals that he may need as he rests and heals. The cost of living is pretty high right now, so if you can’t help financially, your prayers are greatly appreciated! Please help us to help Josiah and to show him God’s goodness! Thank you so much for your support, friends!
